Welcome to aroonnopedia!
The first - and, so far, still only - user contributed online encyclopedia that tells it like it is. More comprehensive[1] than Wikipedia, more popular than the Online Encyclopedia of Hilarigona Obscurata Genome Subsequences, and more controversial than the Comic Sans Lookalike Font Database.
aroonnopedia started in 2005 as a small experimental site used almost exclusively by IT professionals, which partly explains why there are so many articles about IT companies. Now greatly expanded, it has approximately 1080 up-to-date articles on subjects from aardvarks to zyzzyvas and runs to over 1,000 lines of Brainfuck.
Notes
[1] and in many cases, more accurate.
